Prior Preparation for Cyril Yoga Retreat
What to Bring:
Yoga mat (or purchase one at the retreat centre for Rs 3000/-)
Pre-Retreat Diet:
Drink 3-4 litres of water per day, starting with 0.5 litres upon waking
Avoid eating or drinking within 2 hours of class commencement
One litre of water may be consumed after class
Recommended Diet:
Vegetarian diet with at least 50% fruits and vegetables
High-protein meal once a day, the size of two hands cupped
Fruit may be consumed at breakfast (after class) and evening
Water should not be consumed during meal times, except 30 minutes prior and after eating
What to Wear:
Women: Close-fitting tank top and/or sports bra, comfortable clothing that moves with you
Men: Lightweight, stretchy shorts or pants, cotton or sweat-wicking material
Personal Hygiene:
Bathe before class, avoid creams after bathing
Empty bowels and bladder before class, if possible
Health Concerns:
Report any health concerns, including general flu, to the teacher before class
